This Saturday, we were to travel to the Mühlviertel . On the one hand, we wanted to visit a Hawaiian party in the evening (which ended differently than expected - but that's another story), on the other hand, we wanted to use the first spring sunshine to visit a football match.
And what could be more obvious than the Pregartner Derby. After stocking up on a Hawaiian shirt at Kik, we headed off to the Mühlviertel, where we skilfully headed for the wrong stadium. After reorientation, we finally found the Union Stadium. A nice football pitch with a small stand and a hill with a good view of the pitch, where the Union fans (and the loud youth team) had spread out.
The game itself had only a remotely derby-like character. There were hardly any heated scenes, rough play or emotional moments. In terms of play, too, the game was lacking a lot - ASKÖ did not exactly act as league leaders, which did not please Heli Köglberger in particular.
In the second half, the players devoted themselves more to one or two beers in the sun while the game was going on. In the end, it was a fair draw, which will not help ASKÖ in the fight for the championship title.
